Another blistering day of heat and speed. The praries, despite being a bit dull are fun to ride through with a tail wind. You can really cruise. I was able to blast through 165km in 6 and a half hours!
Medicine Hat is a funny town. The information was all the way across town from the campsite I ended up staying at but I wanted to see if there was a hostel. I needed to clean up. It turns out there was no hostel so I was forced to turn around. I had arrived early in the afternoon though so it wasn’t a huge problem. MH has the “worlds largest teepee” Which is stupid because it isn’t a teepee at all, but rather some large metal poles welded together in a teepee shaped frame. Very peculiar.

I came up with a question to find out where to eat. “If you could only eat in one restaurant, which would it be?” In MH the answer was “Kelsey’s: I asked three people, same answer. Kelsey’s is like an Earls or something. Good food but nothing to write home about. Strange.
