Once of my coworkers shared this link today on a Gmail feature that allow you to track which site sold your email address. The idea being that if it violates their privacy policy you can sure them. – I have tried something similar in which I create an email address with that sites name so somethingawful@davehamel.com and then just forward all the email from that one to my real address. Unfortunately, I didn’t think of it soon enough or do it regularly enough to stop getting 50 pieces of spam a day. Maybe I will start posting the good ones…
